Some people suggest that the prophecy below is fulfilled during the year B.C. 677 to A.D. 1844:

Lev 26:18 And if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then I will punish you seven times more for your sins.

Lev 26:21 And if ye walk contrary unto me, and will not hearken unto me; I will bring seven times more plagues upon you according to your sins.

Lev 26:24 Then will I also walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven times for your sins.

Lev 26:28 Then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury; and I, even I, will chastise you seven times for your sins.

However, we should not take the 7 times found in Leviticus 26 to be a period of 2520 years for the following reasons:

1) God did not punish the children of Israel, or Christians for 2520 years straight.

2) God bless the world by given His only begotten Son during B.C. 677 to A.D. 1844

3) God bless the church by pouring out His Holy Ghost during B.C. 677 to A.D. 1844

4) The Gospel went throughout the world twice during the so called time of "punishment", the times of Paul and 1844.

We should take the 7 times prophecy found in Leviticus 26 to be literal 7 years for the simple reason that it has been fulfilled in the scriptures multiple times:

Daniel 4:16, also 23,25,32

Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.

2 Kings 8:1

Then spake Elisha unto the woman, whose son he had restored to life, saying, Arise, and go thou and thine household, and sojourn wheresoever thou canst sojourn: for the LORD hath called for a famine; and it shall also come upon the land seven years.

Judges 6:1 And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord: and the Lord delivered them into the hand of Midian seven years.
