The Godhead is a position of divine nature, and that position is the head of all principality and power. For it is written: "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power." {Colossians 2:9-10} And in another place, Christ's emphasis on the power given Him when He said: 'All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth..." (Matthew 28:18)
The definition of the term "Godhead" differs tremendously from all the other translations. See below comparisons

In the King James Bible, Godhead is a position that is occupied by Jesus. Just as the term "king", "prince", or "queen" refers to the name of a position, and not the name of a person, "Godhead" is the name of the position, not the name of a person.
Christ's great commission to the disciples was to, "And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost." (Matthew 28:18-19) red for emphasis: singular, not plural. And in obedience to Christ's PRECISE command, the disciples went forth to baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Here is a list of its occurrences:
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. ~ Acts 2:38
But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. ~ Acts 8:12
(For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) ~ Acts 8:16
When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. ~ Acts 19:5
Suppose the disciples went out to baptize in any other name that is NOT the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, they would have been in direct rebellion against Jesus' commandment. Therefore, to baptize in the singular name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost is to baptize in the name of Jesus.
According to the Scripture: the term "person" has 2 distinct meanings:
1) a man or a woman:
For example:
* "Cursed be he that taketh reward to slay an innocent person. And all the people shall say, Amen." ~ Deuteronomy 27:25
2) an office
For example:
* "Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons" ~ Acts 10:34
* "But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors." ~ James 2:9
While God is no respecter of persons (their office), He has respect for a person when the individual renders faithful obedience. For it is written: "And Abel, he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering" Genesis 4:4. In another words, God respects "persons" when the term "persons" is defined under definition 1, and God does not respect "persons" when the term "persons" is defined under the definition 2.
The man Jesus Christ occupies the threefold office of the Godhead position, in that He is the Judge, the Prophet, and the High Priest for us. For more information on threefold name of Jesus see here:
