Eternal Torment or just the smoke?

The smoke ascended up forever and ever.

  • “And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.” Revelation 14:11

  • “And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever.” Revelation 19:3


When the wicked are consume away, their smoke ascended up and returns back to God’s nostril.

  • “But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.” Psalm 37:20

  • “There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.” 2 Samuel 22:9

  • “Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it.” Ecclesiastes 12:7


God EXHALES life, oxygen, spirit into man. When the wicked dies in the lake of fire, God INHALES back into His nostril the smoke, carbon, spirit of the wicked. Opposite to God, man INHALES oxygen, life and EXHALES carbon.

  • “And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.“ Genesis 2:7

  • “And Noah builded an altar unto the LORD; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. And the LORD smelled a sweet savour; and the LORD said in his heart, I will not again curse the ground any more for man’s sake; for the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth; neither will I again smite any more every thing living, as I have done.” Genesis 8:20-21


Hell and Death shall be no more

  • “And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.” Revelation 20:14


Therefore, Satan FALSELY accuses God of tormenting the wicked forever and ever.

  • “And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.” Revelation 12:10
