The blood of Jesus

To believe in the word of God is to let the mind of Jesus Christ be in us. When we live daily for ourselves, we are living out our lives. And when we live daily for God, we are living out the life of Christ.

• Philippians 2:5

  Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus

• Galatians 2:20

  I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

• Ephesians 3:17

  That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love

  
  

The life is in the blood, not bones, skins, flesh and sinews. If we have our own blood, we are living out our life. But if we have the blood of Jesus flowing through our body, then we are living out the life of Jesus.

• Leviticus 17:11

  For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

• Job 10:11

  Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh, and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.

  
  

Blood is being produced inside our bones, between bone and marrow. If our mind is worldly, we are but producing our own blood. But if Christ’s mind be in us, that is, we study the word of God AND have faith in what we read, then the Word pierces through our bone and marrow and puts the blood of Jesus inside our body, hence we are in possession of the life of Christ.

• Hebrews 4:12

  For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

  
  

We can become overcomers when we are in possession of the blood of Jesus. That is, having faith in the word of God.

• Revelation 12:11

  And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.

  
  

Our sins are cleansed by the blood of Jesus when we believe in the word of God.

• 1 John 1:7

  But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

  
  

We are justified by the blood of Jesus without which, we are but like the dry bones in the valley.

• Romans 5:9

  Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

• Ezekiel 37:4-5

  4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD.

  5 Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:

  
  

We are all made with one blood in the first man Adam.

• Acts 17:26

  And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

  
  

By having faith in the Word, a new type of blood than the one we are born with is put in us. We stop living the life of the first Adam, and we start to live the life of the new Adam. Not the blood of the first Adam shall we live by, but the new blood of Jesus.

God the Father is in heaven. The Son of God is also in heaven. The angels of God ascends and descends from heaven to minister to the people of the earth the Word of God. Having faith in the word of God DOES NOT BRING Christ down from heaven, He is still there! But by a new mind and a new heart, a new blood is being put in our body. Jesus takes possession of our soul. Christ in you, the hope of glory!

• A sudden vigor was communicated to the paralyzed cripple. His whole being was stirred with a healing power, new blood and strength leaped into every limb and member. {2SP 158.2}

• He presents us spotless before his Father; for we are sanctified through his blood. We are purged from dead works; for Jesus takes possession of the sanctified soul, to renew, sustain, and guide all its impulses, and give vitality to its purposes. Thus we become temples for the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. {RH July 25, 1899, par. 18}

• Colossians 1:27

  To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

  
  

When Jesus heals you, cancer, leprosy, viruse, poison and trace of sickness will not be found in the blood that flows through your body.

• Mark 5:34

  And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.

• By faith, new blood is put in us, free from all plague.

  
  

The Roman Catholic Church’s mass is the counterfeit to this truth.

• The Scriptural ordinance of the Lord’s Supper had been supplanted by the idolatrous sacrifice of the mass. Papal priests pretended, by their senseless mummery, to convert the simple bread and wine into the actual “body and blood of Christ.”—Cardinal Wiseman, The Real Presence of the Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ in the Blessed Eucharist, Proved From Scripture, lecture 8, sec. 3, par. 26. With blasphemous presumption, they openly claimed the power of creating God, the Creator of all things. Christians were required, on pain of death, to avow their faith in this horrible, Heaven-insulting heresy. Multitudes who refused were given to the flames. {GC 59.2}

  
  

  • The truth is, the bread and the wine of the mass/communion CANNOT convert into the actual body and blood of Christ. They represent Christ’s body spiritually, not physically.

    • Jesus is in heaven and cannot be in multiple places at the same time. “Cumbered with humanity, Christ could not be in every place personally.” (DA 669)

  • While Christ cannot personally be in us and heaven at the same time, Through faith in God’s word, He will put His own blood in our body physically. As Christ lived a sinless life upon the earth, by the power of His blood, we too can live a sinless life on earth.
