How will the latter rain come?

Proverbs 18:22

"Whoso findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favour of the LORD."


  • The Lord gives out His favour to a man by giving him a wife. He said: "And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him." (Genesis 2:18)

  • One of the last acts of creation was bringing forth the Woman from the Man. "And God saw every thing that he had made, and, behold, it was very good. And the evening and the morning were the sixth day." (Genesis 1:31)

  • To finished the work of creation, the marriage institution was established.

  • To finished the work of sanctification, the marriage institution needs to be re-established.

  • "In the time of the end every divine institution is to be restored." (Patriarchs and Prophets 678.2)


Proverbs 16:15

"In the light of the king's countenance is life; and his favour is as a cloud of the latter rain."


  • The process of fixing up broken marriages and restoring it to its original design is ONE of the ways to receive the latter rain.
